Hammer Tattoo

A contractor friend wanted a tattoo design incorporating a masonry hammer. I first sketched the hammer from a reference photo and scanned it. I opened it in Adobe Illustrator and traced the hammer. The banner was digital clipart. I then created individual spikes and duplicated them to form the sunray medallion. Color and color blends was added.
