One Dead Doctor is the third book of the David Price Mystery by author Tony Lindsay.

Originally the author wanted to use the Hippocratic symbol of a winged staff with two snakes wrapped around it covered in blood for the cover. I thought this was too much of a design cliché and came up with the option of the stethoscope in blood. Simple, yet affective and the author happily agreed.

The author commissioned the cover.
